In order to prepare our students to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century,  it is imperative to incorporate the use of technology. Luckily, there are many great reources online for Physical Educators to help meet these challenges.  Below I listed a few among the many sites and blogs that help support technology integration and serve as valuable teacher and student resoures.

PELinks4U - useful information on technology relating to physical education.

Mr.Robbo, the PE Geek - Australian PE teacher's blog, ways in which he incorporates tech. into PE.

Adventures to Fitness- 30 minute, interactive adventure that motivates children to move while they learn math, science, geography, and much more.

Be Smart, Be Well - childhood obesity portal aims to help the 25 million American kids who face serious health risks such as heart disease and diabetes. The stories and resources on the site are intended to serve as a non-commercial resource for the public seeking information about various health subjects.

Little D's Nutrition Expedition Games - students identify and classify foods while playing while playing online game.  Designed for primary grades.

PYP PE with Andy - Andy Vasily, a PE teacher who teaches in China, shares his lessons, thoughts and reflections, and basically all things PE in his blog.

  1. Your focus on PE will be truly helpful at my school. Our PE teacher is also our tech coordinator so I am going to forward these links to him. I know he is going to be fascinated with them. He is always looking for ways to integrate PE and technology. Thanks!

  2. Great - glad I could pass along some resources!

  3. Casey, I'd also recommend checking out Carone Fitness. I know that they are big in the physical education portion of K-12 online learning (and I regularly post their newsletters on my own blog).
